2 Corinthians 4:17 reminds us that our "affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory." While we know this to be the truth of God's word, our afflictions can disorient our hearts and dysregulate our minds from believing and trusting God's sovereign plans of eternity. Join Yorktown Women of Coastal as we continue our 2025 theme "WEIGHT OF GLORY" with a morning dedicated to not focusing on the things that are transient, but setting our eyes on eternity. We will fellowship over breakfast, worship God through songs, be equipped through a time of teaching, and encourage each other through Christ-centered dialogue. The cost is $15 for adults, and $7 for middle school, high school, and college students. Sponsorships are available. Bring an appetite, your small group, a mentee, a friend, a neighbor, or an acquaintance. But most importantly, bring your heart and mind ready to be engaged, equipped, and encouraged. We can't wait to connect and grow with you. PS - childcare is included for those who register in advance, and a snack is provided for the kids. You are welcome to pack a snack of your choice as well.
