About Foot Washing Foot washing is a beautiful and symbolic act that reflects Jesus’ humility and servant-hearted love during His last days. In John 13, Jesus washed His disciples’ feet as an example of selfless service, encouraging us to do the same for one another. While this tradition is a meaningful way to follow Christ’s example, participation is entirely optional. We want everyone to feel comfortable.
